Je suis partie parce que rester n’était pas la seule solution, je suis partie parce que la destination future donnait un sens au présent, je suis partie parce que c’était possible, je suis partie pour ceci et cela et pour d’autres raisons que je ne peux pas expliquer. Je suis partie quand le bateau était suffisamment prêt et quand le moment est venu. Pourquoi serais-je restée ? 🇺🇸 They ask me: Why did I come? This place is different from what I imagined, the problems are different and so are the pleasures. I left because staying wasn’t the only way, I left because the future destination gave meaning to the present, I left because it was possible, I left for this and that and for other reasons I can’t tell you. I left when the boat was ready enough and when the time came. Why would I have stayed?
