Back to the boat.. After five weeks awayâand a little longer neglecting the boat while working on my book projectâIâm heading back out to Wahine. The manuscript is now submitted, and while I wait for feedback, itâs time to give the boat some overdue attention. First job: pump up the SUP and check for leaks, so I can get back and forth more easily while moving Wahine further up the inlet to tackle some boat projects. It also saves hauling Mitsuâs heavier tender back into the water. Nothing dramatic. Just the practical realities of life afloatâtools, tides, and a bit of trial and error. Good to be back.
