The Whiskey Plank is the final plank required to complete the outer shell of a wooden hull. With this major milestone, it is traditional to take a brief moment to celebrate the mounting of the whiskey plank with a celebration involving shots of whiskey all around... so that’s what we did as we installed the last plank on Hull 1 of the of the LM46! This is our third cold-molded hull in as many years and we’re really enjoying tying tradition together with our modern approach to yacht construction. 🎥: @mackenzie_lyman

HIRW 2022 | Caught in a Dial-Up! You don't usually expect two supermaxis to get involved in an America's Cup style dial-up contest a minute before the start gun!But a couple of times this week andoo Comanche and Hamilton Island Wild Oats XI have used the start boat or the pin end mark to see if they can peel off their opposite number and gain the upper hand as they cross the line.And if you're the unsuspecting media boat caught in the middle of the circle work it can be very hard to know which way to go!
