The crew on J109 Going to Red had some close tussles with J109 Ctrl-J during Cork Week 2024. For the most part Going to Red was faster upwind with Ctrl-J making up ground on the runs. GTR was doing all it could to slip down to leeward to stay in front of the fast charging blue spinnaker. Since going through the anti-invasive species electrified field north of Joliet, I have been dealing with electrical issues off and on . My jumper discharged sometime between hear and heritage so I am having to recharge it. 7 hour trip to quiver Island so I will have to stay another night.
