In the almost 2 years we've spent in Trinidad repairing our boat in the shipyard and on anchor we've made some amazing friends. Tow ropes can be super dangerous. You might think that a barge is self propelled and not notice the tow rope from the tug ahead. These are in the ocean as well as rivers and other waterways. It is an easy mistake to miss. Sometimes the ropes can be very long.
