We aim to share what I have learnt since 1998 when I started working as an Engineering Technician. • Boat Recipes - We intend to make boat recipe videos where we will share Rossella's simple and delicious boat food ideas. • Yachtmaster Theory and Seamanship - Although we consider ourselves to be novice sailors, I have been working offshore (at sea - mostly on vessels, sometimes on platforms) since 2006. Since then, some years I have spent more days at sea than I have on land. I have also studied and passed the examination for the RYA Yachtmaster Theory qualification. Gioia mattutina, passeggiata nel verde, aria pulita, temperatura perfetta, Luna Rossa che vince, il libro che prende forma. Che spettacolo incredibile! Ciliegina sulla torta: tra pochi giorni festeggiamo il ritorno! Aaahh che bellezza ragazzi, che gaso infinito. Ma adesso passiamo alle cose serie: per arrivare giusti il 5 ottobre a Lignano dobbiamo fare slalom tra parecchia instabilità meteorologica. Quindi domani, circa all’alba, molleremo gli ormeggi per salire verso nord. 70 miglia circa. Arriviamo 🔥

At the start of the 2025 Lightship race, Hana Ho, a Santa Cruz 50, came down and just barely fit between our bow and the stern of the boat in front of them. If we had come down with them and sped up, we'd have closed the gap and put them in an unenviable spot. With 4 minutes left to the gun, it wasn't worth collecting the foul, but boy, this is right on the line between skill and just a dumb move, especially in PHRF where the boats accelerate and decelerate differently.
