Sailing around all over the world with the navy and then in the Mediterranean as a sailing coach, I learn that we use the port anchor or port cleat to secure the anchor ⚓ for the Northern Hemisphere, due to Coriolis effect. Now I learn that I can use the same principle to direct the bow to the direction of the wave and have better sleep. 😎
