Today we are on a test sail aboard the Broadblue 346 Catamaran. The Broadblue 346 is an ideal catamaran for families and couples, this model is small enough to make a passage through the French canals, but robust enough to carry a Category A (Ocean) status, all with 2m headroom throughout the boat. The key to the easy handling is the innovative “sail station” concept, bringing all of the working sheets and halyards to a single forward facing location alongside the helm station. This ensures that the 346 can be easily handled by one person, including reefing of both the main and headsails. The spacious accommodation includes two large double aft cabins and a single cabin forward as standard. This can be extended by incorporating a single cabin amidships on the port side and a saloon conversion for the double berth. When combined with the optional second head this allows up to 8 people to sleep aboard and enjoy facilities of two heads and two showers, all in a 10m catamaran. http://RedCatPanama.com Tour Description: Board our Mega Catamaran and sail to the beautiful Pearl Islands Archipelago. These Islands are well known for their clear waters and white sand. Those of you who like adventure will be able to enjoy the unique opportunity of snorkeling in these clear waters. Swimming or just relaxing in our deck is also recommended. Stay alert and your eyes might catch the beautiful Wild Dolphins that like to play around the area. After snorkeling the crew serves lunch, which you eat on board, then you can take a dip in the ocean and party all the way back to the city. The time spent on the Island is from 3 to 4 hours. Wear a swimsuit, bring a towel and adequate sun protection! Alcoholic beverages are only served after the snorkel portion of the tour.
