The Sea Champ 18 was a cool little fishboat we found on display at the Southampton Boat show, and it illustrates a lot of the differences between boats built on this side of the Atlantic, versus those built over there in the UK. Even though it's just 18' it has a pilothouse. But, it still has a ton of fishing room in the open cockpit. Over the long weekend of May 17, 18 and 19, no fewer than 30 owners’ rendezvous were held simultaneously all around the world (well, almost simultaneously, ignoring the time difference...). In all, 300 Lagoons and 1,500 crew celebrated this anniversary.
