Annapolis Yacht Club July 29th. You gotta love it when a plan comes together: Big breeze and cool temperature. Tonight's race was just perfect. It speak for itself:

It blew from every direction at some point this evening and ended with a stunning sunset with storms in the distance. A perfect way to start the final series of the year. We dedicate this show to Michelle Slade, a fellow sailor and dear friend who recently crossed the bar.

Annapolis Yacht Club June 24th. A brilliant night on the water for racing as the outside fleet did another dash into the Chesapeake and back.

Annapolis Yacht Club June 17th. Maybe there was a bit of a drought for WNR so far, but tonight surely made up for it. All on on the Severn for the well over a hundred boat fleet. Absolutely a great night on the water!

Annapolis Yacht Club May 27th. Series One is over. Fortunately the inside course had a race, making three for them in Series One while the outside course couldn't muster enough breeze to get started...On to Series Two!

Annapolis Yacht Club May 6th. Third time's the charm; WNR finally got underway with a soft but solid SW breeze as more than 750 sailors and race committee took on the Severn and Chesapeake Bay for the first race of the 2026 season.

The 44th edition of the Hospice Cup in Annapolis brought nearly 100 boats out to the Chesapeake Bay. The largest charity regatta of its kind, the Sailing Club of the Chesapeake ran three circles and all celebrated the fundraising efforts for 4 Hospice care beneficiaries afterwards at Horn Point Marina. Beneficiaries: Capital Caring Health, Talbot Hospice, Montgomery and Prince George’s Hospice and the Lifecare Institute.
