Annapolis Yacht Club May 27th. Series One is over. Fortunately the inside course had a race, making three for them in Series One while the outside course couldn't muster enough breeze to get started...On to Series Two!

Annapolis Yacht Club May 6th. Third time's the charm; WNR finally got underway with a soft but solid SW breeze as more than 750 sailors and race committee took on the Severn and Chesapeake Bay for the first race of the 2026 season.

The 44th edition of the Hospice Cup in Annapolis brought nearly 100 boats out to the Chesapeake Bay. The largest charity regatta of its kind, the Sailing Club of the Chesapeake ran three circles and all celebrated the fundraising efforts for 4 Hospice care beneficiaries afterwards at Horn Point Marina. Beneficiaries: Capital Caring Health, Talbot Hospice, Montgomery and Prince George’s Hospice and the Lifecare Institute. Annapolis Yacht Club August 20th. The season is winding down but not without a classic parade from the Severn into the Chesapeake complete with a spinnaker finish in a big breeze.

Annapolis Yacht Club Wednesday July 23rd. Series three got underway on a beautiful night on the Severn and the Chesapeake.

Annapolis Yacht Club July 16th. After a long break the series 2 is back under way with the final race. The storms held off until the fleet was back at the dock.

Great local fresh crabs cooked onsite with all the trimmings and a fun voyage up the river. This is a great slice of a truly Chesapeake experience. Annapolis Yacht Club July 1st. Every year AYC's Junior program hosts it's Annual Regatta attracting junior sailors from all over the Chesapeake.

The third and final day of racing has a shifty easterly mix up the top of the leaderboard... except for the tippy top. The Star's wetted surface area and long length can carve through any amount of chop.

Day 1 of the Star Western Hemisphere Championship brought two races in 10 knots and ripping tide out in the Chesapeake Bay. North of the bay bridge, off Gibson Island. 34 teams from across the USA and Canada with crews from around the world race for a silver star on their sail.
