We had really under powered winches (a 10 & an 8 both without self-tailing) and lots of galvanic corrosion on the winch pads. Huge progress. We have changed everything to improve anchoring. We have a much bigger and better anchor (30kg SPADE) plus 80m of 10mm chain. So we have created a larger chain locker that is 2m further aft and below the waterline. Now we have had to sort out the chute to automatically get the chain to stack in the new locker.
