It’s been a bit quite. I’ve been really sick, as you can hear in this video😅 but here is one of my latest projects, not finished but hey… you gotta start somewhere! Little back story, I’ve had this huge solar panel sitting in my living area for over 2 months now, not connected just in my way. So I decided it’s time to get it installed but mounting on the canvas roof without damaging the canvas seems tricky, so I decided to build a hard top out of plywood and fiberglass and fit it onto the frame. Means I can easily mount the solar panel and other stuff like outdoor light and more fairy lights ✨ Thanks for the help As a complete newbie to the sailing world, I had no idea where to start my liveaboard life and I had so much to learn. But first things first. I bought a sailboat, an old wooden ex fishing boat, build for rough seas, 40 ft long and over 15t heavy. But before the sailing life begins I have to do a lot of work, from re caulking to placing planks and wood rot, repainting and anti fouling as well as turning the whole inside into a beautiful homely living space. Come along and help me figure out how to live on a boat and how to sail.

Welcome to my first Video of the day I bought my sailboat STORMY. She's an old boat so after the sea trial I decided to get her lifted out of the water and a survey done before making the decision of buying her (i Know I knida had my mind made up beforehand already but still...) And this is what she looks like and what the first 3 weeks of being a boat owner looked like... A LOT OF WORK. But hey I'll hopefully learn how to sail and get to enjoy her later. Some of you might know that I bought a boat a few months ago. She’s a beautiful old timber fishing boat originally from Melbourne, build in 1979. I’ve started turning her into my dream home, the perfect little cosy liveaboard. It has been the most amazing adventure so far and I decided to share it online for anyone who is interested ⛵️ It’s been a challenging few months so far. Full of ups and downs, set backs and new jobs that weren’t even planned. But it has also been super rewarding to figure it all out on my own (and the help of some friends). I have no background in building or carpentry or no knowledge at all about electrical work and boats in general. So I have been learning so much and I can’t wait to set sail :) #sailingstormy
