Termini Imerese turned out to be just that: a practical and well-sheltered "yotty stop" that's close to everything we need. The real bonus? It's just 30 minutes by train from Palermo - and what a reward that was. We spent a day wandering through the historic heart of Sicily's capital, and it honestly took our breath away. Palermo is a city of contrasts - bold, beautiful, chaotic, and utterly captivating.
