Sailing 1 kn less than true wind speed.

To furl this big sail I use electric winch on a mast. Will upload video about this setup and how it works later on.

On 80 degrees true wind angle she reaches 9kn boat speed in only 15kn of wind.

In 10kn of TWS and 130TWA boat speed at 6,5kn with only asymmetric spinnaker and no mainsail.

On 120TWA and about 20kn of wind speed with code0 and full main we can go more than 10kn boat speed.

With code0 and full mainsail in light winds boat speed almost reaches wind speed. Will try to do more test sail on different angles and sail setups to reach that wind speed :) New and more accurate electronics (B&G) installed on the boat. This should help to make better measurements in the future.

If we can sail at 5kn there is no question of turning engines on, especially at night.

We crossed Atlantic ocean (Tenerife - St. Martin) in 17,5 days. Distance traveled - 3016nm, avg. SOG - 7,2kn, max. SOG - 22,1kn (surfing down the big wave :D) often going 12-15kn SOG down those Atlantic waves.
