I started this channel to show how Nautitech 47 catamaran performs under sail. When I was looking for that "perfect" catamaran for blue water cruising and living full time on it I noticed that there are not so many videos about how catamarans actually sail. You can find tons of videos about the interiors and living space walk-arounds in the boat shows, but not how these cats sail. And regrading Nautitech 47 it is almost none videos what show how she goes under sail in different conditions under different sail plan. I hope this channel will inspire discussions about sailing performance of any cat and how to select right sails and how to trim them better. Keep in mind, my Nautitech 47 is loaded for cruising, all that comfort (washing machine, dishwasher, generator, water maker, dinghy with 2 engines, 10x gel batteries, solar array of 1000W, freezer, 900L water tank and a ton of toys like surfboards, diving gear, kites....) weights her down, but still she feels very well under sail.
