Bought a new boat in Ardfern Scotland , a 1982 Westwind 35 , also known as the Young Sun 35, in this video Ines and myself sail to the island of Gigha and then on to Bangor in Belfast lough .

The sale of Waxwing fell through unfortunately, big waste of time but she is sold now to a great guy Pete 😊 Sailed the Kelly Peterson to Arklow Co. Wicklow where I will finish getting her ready to sail to Spain and Portugal, she’s taking shape nicely 😊⛵️

This week I sold Waxwing , I’ll miss her but so happy that she has a super new owner , also means I can buy a suitable boat for the 2030 GGR race . Got alot of work done to the KP44

This week I move a Gran Sorel 52 sailboat to portimao boatyard and have her lifted out for the owner . On Waxwing I replaced a bilge pump and fitted a new water heater and replaced the galley worktop, then take a day off and visit Cabanas Tavira and Tavira in the algarve 😊⛵️

This week we sail up to Lisbon under the red bridge and into Seixal for shelter and a safe place to moor Waxwing while I deliver a 52 ft yacht from Porto to the algarve. Got invited onboard a beautiful old sail training ship 😊⛵️

This week we are back sailing Waxwing .We set sail from Bantry bay Co Cork heading for Dingle Co Kerry but stopped in Knightstown Valentia island Co Kerry for small repair and decided to shelter here from storm Erin , Knightstown is beautiful and well sheltered so a great place to wait out the bad weather. #sailing #boatlife #ocean

Part two of the delivery this week from A Coruna Spain , to Cascais Portugal and on to the final destination Portimao.
