The helm station is about to come alive, and it's turning out to be quite the game of Tetris to try and fit all the gadgets and screens that we will use to sail around in the world into a rather compact space. But with Kazza's knack for organizing, Dan's mastery with the welder, and my nerd-mode fully activated, we manage to come up with something super functional that looks pretty dang sexy! The helm station is one of those spots on the boat that can really make or break how fun, comfortable, and practical a boat is to sail, so it's something that we've put soooo much thought into. There's a lot to take into consideration like corrosion prevention, cost, ease of maintenance, and of course how sexy will it look 🔥 And I think we've managed to strike a good balance with our final choice! So the team gets to work on this MASSIVE undertaking, and the results are SCHMICK! As you might already know, we've decided to go with spray foam for the majority of the hull for several reasons which we break down for you in the video. The process is VERY interesting and VERY messy, and ended up taking an extra day to get it all done perfectly, and then of course the clean up process was a massive undertaking in and of itself.
