The helm station is about to come alive, and it's turning out to be quite the game of Tetris to try and fit all the gadgets and screens that we will use to sail around in the world into a rather compact space. But with Kazza's knack for organizing, Dan's mastery with the welder, and my nerd-mode fully activated, we manage to come up with something super functional that looks pretty dang sexy! The helm station is one of those spots on the boat that can really make or break how fun, comfortable, and practical a boat is to sail, so it's something that we've put soooo much thought into. Remember wayyyy back in episode 12 when we installed the busbar that will carry power from the batteries back to the electric motors? Well after months and months of work we are ready to put power through it for the VERY FIRST TIME 🥳 It's probably the one thing we've gotten the MOST comments on throughout this whole project, so we're excited to discuss all the progress we've made so far with the set up, and most importantly see if this unconventional plan can live up to all the hype!
