Right now we're in Trinidad but to get here we had to sail our Leopard 45 across the Atlantic Ocean. This is the story of that journey including leaving Gibraltar, sailing through the Canary Islands, across the Atlantic Ocean and arriving in Trinidad where we were hauled out by Power Boats.
During the crossing Rose, our Australian Shepherd, was able to spend weeks hunting for dolphins and we spent a lot of time with the Code 0 out, but the sail was not without drama. A component of our steering broke when we were still hundreds of nautical miles from land.

We are half way via Suez Canal Transit.
As we were coming to Ismailia we were hoping that we will be able to anchor since we broke bow thruster in Suez Yacht Club.
Also - we did not checked in into Egypt therefore we can not leave the boat. We also did not plan to purchase fuel as we heard it's quite expensive in Ismailia.
Luckily we saw anchorages right next to the marina and that's where we're hoping to drop the hook.
After multiple explanations why we can’t come to marina we were denied the anchorage and insisted to come in the marina.
Well, there’s so much more than that, that’s why it’s better you watch the whole video!

We're overwintering in the ice in Greenland. Here's one of the ways we deal with the ice.
We'll spend the full winter (around 5-6 months) here, until the ice melts in May/June. Footage for this video shot in Jan/Feb 2025.

Episode 391 : Season 12 : Sailing Australia
Hello Friends,
On this episode we drop the hook at Whitsunday Island in Cid Harbour and make our way a shore to its peak trail. We enjoyed the hike up, watching out for the Stinging trees! Once up top we were blown away by the incredible views of the surrounding waters and islands!
Once back on the boat we headed over to a small anchorage near by and then on to Butterfly Bay on Hook Island where we had one of our most amazing snorkels since arriving to Australia.

Hello Friends,
Making my way into Tuherahera village to have a look around and hunt for some wifi, I saw a pin on google maps that lead me to the mythical “La Cloche De Hina”. I was amazed by the beauty of this remote atoll and loved learning about its local lore.

This week we talk about how to get a screaming deal on super cheap sailboats and the secret to finding those hidden gem deals on sailboats for sale but not listed anywhere. The word of mouth sailboats. And how to become ingrained in the sailing community if you are a first time sailor or first time boat buyer.
I made it through the 10 days of quarantine in Bangkok, only to find out that a few squatters had moved onboard Aquarius. The parent ended up removing them from the boat, but I did have to clean up their mess!

Some funny stuff in the beginning, but the video shows how to rebuild the the lower end of a Super Maramu 2000 bow thruster. We had to do it in Whangarei NZ. This video show what happens after the shit happens. Everyone should enjoy the beginning, but those that what to see some real sailor shit should stick around for the rebuild!!

Episode 387 : Season 12 : Sailing Australia
Hello Friends,
On this episode we say goodbye to Middle Island in the Percy Group and have a nice mellow sail to Digby Island where we find a strange shipwreck on the beach and head a shore to check it out!
This anchorage had be labeled as very rolly and uncomfortable in the cruising guide but we found it to be a great place to spend a night as we continued our north bound cruise up the east coast of Australia.

On January 16th, 2024 we left Mindelo, Cape Verde for our second leg of Atlantic Ocean Crossing. Winds looked perfect, and we were planning to be in Marinique in 12-14 days.
On the 5th day late evening we lost our main mast, then couple hours later, we lost our mizzen mast as main mast was constantly bashing into it. We still don’t know why this happened but here are some of our thoughts after 4 days this disaster happened.
Please be kind with your comments as we still in high danger and have couple days to go to reach the shore…

Last week was quite intense for us - meeting friends, Cannes Yachting Festival, we met few followers there and quite stormy weather - so now we are very happy to slow down and relax a little bit... We go for a leisurely stroll on Ile Saint-Margueritte - one of 2 small islands just south of Cannes, where we visit Fort Royalle and the famous prison - where The Man in the Iron Mask was imprisoned. His true identity as well as why he was imprisoned for 34 years till his death remains a mystery to this day...
Then we sail to St. Tropez and explore around. Maybe our expectations were too high, but Port Grimaud right next to St. Tropez was very charming and reminded Venice.
Then we do a "AMEL mandatory" stop - Hyeres, where's AMEL office is situated and our last destination in France - only a few miles away from Hyeres - the beautiful nature reserve Porquerolles, quiet and pristine, with very little development but lots of charm, where we spend a couple of days waiting for the winds to sail to Sapin.
We had such a lovely time in France… Thank you, France!

On this episode I show you guys how I went about installing my Digital Yacht GPS / AIS / VHF combo antenna for my Digital Yacht iAis receiver. I wanted to install it on the stern rail and to run the cables down the tube of the stern pulpit and into the aft lazarette.
Hoping to avoid removing the entire stern pulpit I decided to try and drill through the backing plate and into the tube itself. My plan worked and I was able to complete the job easily with the help of my friend Christian of Sailing Vessel Antares.
Thanks for watching this project throwback video I hope it helps you in some way.
Until next time,

Episode #230 : Season 8 : The Hawaiian Adventures : Bringing a 1959 Triton to Honolulu - Part 1
Hello Friends, Welcome to a new episode of "Yacht Delivery Chronicles"! On this episode my friend Esteban and myself catch a ride onboard SV Solstice with Captain Geoff sailing from Ko Olina on Oahu to Port Allen on Kauai. The purpose of our trip is to bring Esteban's new boat, a 1959 Person Triton (Hull #34) from Kauai to Honolulu.
We had a mellow crossing of the Kauai Channel with slack Tradewinds with some excitement at the end when we discovered a cracked fuel line and made a temporary repair.
Join us next week to watch us Turn and Burn and bring Esteban's new boat home after only being on Kauai for 5 hours!
