I almost didn't upload this one? The brand new J40 was a sports cruiser we were all waiting for but I recon they have gone way too far with this J40 sailboat. This is a bit of a rant and I should imagine I won't be getting an invite to test sail this one?

This island is a treat for us - it's so different from what we have been seeing for a while. Very different and unique - no sandy beaches to pull up your dinghy, just a semi automated lift (!) and many caves and lots of rocks! And a bar that is open only on Sunday's afternoons and you serve your drinks yourself ;) Haven't seen this one yet, did you?

Hello Friends,
On this episode we clear into Indonesia using a local agent named Kim. Kim made the entire process very easy and it went super smooth compared to horror stories we had heard of people using local street agents.

Legally you are not "required" to use an agent, but we had friends try and clear in by themselves at Tual and the quarantine officer refused to clear them in without an agent.

Once cleared in we went for a wander to see this completely different way of life than the one we live and are accustomed to!

Some weeks it feels like every single thing that can go wrong does. We, as sailors, will anxiously wait for a part, thinking it will solve all of our problems. It's far from the truth, but it definitely makes us feel better. I attempt to replace the shaft seal, IN THE WATER. You HAVE to watch this if you are replacing yours... it really wasn't that big of a deal. Afterwards, I continue on my journey... feeling a little hopeless; which can be the reality of living aboard sometimes.

Back in Langkawi we getting ready to leave but before we need to get a long stay Visa for Ken. We visit Surin, who will help us as visas for Thailand are not issued in Langkawi, only Penang and Kuala Lumpur. After that is taken care of we have to wait for the visa couple of days and in that time we will have some good time - first we leaving Telaga Harbour Marina and go anchor next to Royal Langkawi Yacht club.
