This is our 3rd Indian Ocean crossing this season: first Thailand to Maldives, then from there to Seychelles and now to Tanzania, Africa. And I still can’t say it’s the last one as we still will be going up to Sues Canal.

Two other guests arrive aboard Aquarius and we take off from Krabi Boat Lagoon. Our initial destination - Phuket Yacht Haven where we will get our engine checked by Volvo Penta. We jump in an open water as it's a hot day without much wind and have some fun! And we can't make it all the way to the marina, therefore we sail till dark and anchor in an island along the way where we have incident with fisherman and his nets...

Äntligen seglar vi hem vår Lady Four - från Västerhaninge till Resarö ⛵️

Lady Four är en Beason 33 och faktiskt den enda av sitt slag!

⚓️ Ursprungligen var hon en Beason 31 från 1979, som av sin enda ägare Christer lät byggas om från 31 till 33 fot för att breddas, förlängas och förbättras.

⚒️ Man kapade 3,5 meter av båtens akter för att skapa en ny form. Bland annat fick båten en akterspegel med badplattform, badstege och dusch. Lady Four utrustades även med en rullgenua, fast vindruta och mycket bättre stuvutrymmen.

Always follow the company procedures on how to determine those safety parameters.

In Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs), contours represent lines connecting points of equal depth or height in the water or on the sea floor. These contours provide a visual representation of the underwater terrain, helping mariners to understand the shape and characteristics of the seabed.

On this episode I install the ports on the holding tank, get all the plumbing sorted out, install the Y valves and figure out the best way to align and find the best spot for the macerator pump. The hose that leads to the Thru-hull would NOT go on so I ended up getting a heat gun and after sometime was able to get it to seat.

I make my project videos on the slow side letting people see what I did and how I dealt with obstacles, in past videos my viewers have thanked me for not jumping over all of the details and getting right to the finished project so while this might not be the most exciting video it might help some people out there see how I dealt with certain aspects of the project.

Season 5 Episode 96 - Pushing out into the Pacific Ocean and finding safe harbor in La Push

On this weeks episode we depart Neah Bay and beat into the Pacific Ocean at night. Just after sunrise our electrical system begin to fail. With the voltmeter spiking and the relays screaming we come about and point for the La Push, Washington and are escorted over the bar by the U.S. Coast Guard Station Quillayute River ( https://www.facebook.com/uscoa....stguardstationquilla )

Once safely tied up and after a much needed nap Camille and myself head out to explore the incredible beaches of La Push with its massive trees washed ashore and endless driftwood. We also flew the drone out to get a view of this remarkable coastline from the sky.

During our time living in Trinidad we've hiked around the island and visited many different jungle waterfalls; this time it's Blue Basin!

Located in the back of Diego Martin, we've visited Blue Basin a few times over the past year and have been impressed with the natural beauty of the river. This time, I decided to go ahead and see how far up the river I could get. I was not prepared for how blue the stone really was, or how clear the water could be. It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon in the Trinidadian jungle and is somewhere to go when visiting Trinidad for a holiday and yacht haul out.

After intense Egypt exploration for couple of weeks we are back on Aquarius hoping for a well deserved rest and relax, but it wasn't easy - mosquitos, flies, remote location with only basic provisioning and not even a chance to swim... But we surrounded by cheap 5* all inclusive hotels - and as the saying goes: when life gives you lemons, make a lemonade!
So we did! And finally get some rest. With clear head we weighted our options and even we still had a week in the Port Ghalib marina we decided to leave to Jordan.
Seemed like fairly easy and short passage across Red Sea and Gulf of Aqaba, with forecasted light winds...
Well it was not exactly the case - watch the video to see it yourself ;)

Episode 404 : Season 13 : Sailing Indonesia

Hello Friends,
On this episode we visit the Bajo Sea Gypsy village of Sampela at Wakatobi National Park. Our guide, Dan, is a member of the tribe and took us to his home on his amazing fishing boat where his wife prepared lunch for us of a fish Dan had caught the day before.

Visiting this village was mind blowing for me! The construction of the houses over the reef, the super sketchy boardwalks and minimal living conditions felt like something out of a movie, yet here we were exploring this amazing place. This was certainly the highlight of my circumnavigation so far!

Life in the anchorage near Split, Croatia has been relaxing with a bit of drama. We were visited by the Croatian navy one morning ordering us to move the yacht immediately, and later found an unexpected item under the boat, trapping our anchor chain.

In between, we took the time to explore Marjan Park (Park Šuma Marjan) which borders Split and got back out on the wake board.

Man sagt: Der Weg ist das Ziel. Aber was, wenn man am Ziel angekommen ist? Ich bin um die halbe Welt gesegelt mit dem Ziel Launceston, Tasmanien. Jetzt bin ich angekommen. Eine halbes Jahr Zeit in Tasmanien. Und dann der Aufbruch. Natürlich will ich wieder segeln. Ich ziele auf die lange Passage nach Tonga, aber lande in Sydney. Nicht ganz freiwillig.

Aquarius left koh Phi Phi for Krabi River Marina where Z and Ken visited the local Thai immigration office; and received a one month extension. We also had time to clean up Aquarius at the dock, and then took off with a few guests for Railay Beach area. WOW, picture perfect!

We were late in the season, and the Railey Beaches were exposed to the East, and thus a few nights we got rocked. And almost sunk our dinghy.
