The birth of the RM1180

The birth of an 1180, hours of work to build an ocean-going yacht in just a few seconds! For once, for the RM1180 and only for this model, we have chosen to manufacture the top planking with a fibreglass/epoxy sandwich in order to achieve this complex shape. When it came out in 2019, its revolutionary look, inspired by ocean racing, set a real trend that many of our competitors are still following today! - La naissance d'un 1180, des heures de travail pour construire un voilier hauturier en quelques secondes! Une fois n'est pas coutume, pour le RM1180 et uniquement pour ce modèle, nous avons fait le choix de fabriquer le bordé supérieur avec un sandwich fibre de verre/époxy pour pouvoir réaliser cette forme complexe. A sa sortie en 2019 son look révolutionnaire issu de la course au large a lancé une vraie tendance, présente chez nombre de nos confrères aujourd'hui!
