Sailing vessel Tapatya. We have a delightful sail down the Guadiana River back to Ayamonte and then head on out of the river, turning east towards Mazagon. Glorious sunrise sailing and an excellent 18 to 20 knots of wind on the beam take us to the golden beaches at the mouth of the Rio Guadalquivir :) This is the story of SV Tapatya, a self-built, Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat. The videos are a week-by-week record of our adventures as I live aboard, sail and strive to find out just what such a self-built, low-budget vessel is capable of. These videos take a lot of time and effort to make, in what is already a time-intensive project. Your support in watching, subscribing and sharing these videos is very much appreciated.
