We replaced the old chain with a new longer chain, added a third heavier anchor, and decided to upgrade from the old windlass (aka George's biceps) to a new mechanical windlass. This has resulted in a total of 550lbs at the furthest forward part of the bow and now the waterline has sunk below the water.
