After many people kept asking us about Patreon and what it all really is about we were lucky enough to come across the people again, who first got US excited about the idea and made them explain... But basically it means that you support a cause that you like or believe in in a small way, kind of like inviting a musician friend for a beer every now and then because he keeps you entertained. Project Manaia is using Sea Nomad as their Platform - An Open Research ship, inviting Scientists, enthusiasts, divers and curious minds from around the world to join in on expeditions to preserve parts of the ocean and witness what is really happening at sea!
