After spending some time at Liapari Island, we headed back to Gizo to dive the deep walls of the reefs around Kennedy and Naru Islands. We recount the story of PT109 that was hit by a Japanese destroyer and the rescue of its crew and commanding officer John F Kennedy, the future President of the United States.
