[Ep 3] My first Solo Sail, from Largs Marina to Lamlash, Firth of Clyde, Scotland. August 2020.

This was my first solo sail on Sula, a Hanse 385. I kept it simple and just sailed from Largs Marina to Lamlash. I managed to pick up a mooring buoy from the bow but would probably pick it up from the stern next time. Great to get out and get some fresh air. It was a bit stressful going solo for the first time but it certainly gets easier with practice. One of the reasons I chose the Hanse 385 was the self-tacking jib and simplicity of sailing singlehanded. Sula is a Hanse 385 (2013)
