Duckboards & Daisies
Western Cape - South Africa, is known for its amazing wild flower season. We have about 3 months of spectacular shows of wild flowers, initially coming in colour waves but at the end of the season there is an amazing display of white, yellow, pink, orange and purple daisies and other flowers. The season is just starting and we getting to see the first waves of white and yellow daisies everywhere that we look. The club organised a walk through the military/naval base here in Saldanha which is in a wild reserve. Whilst we didn't get to see much wildlife the flowers we saw is a lovely sign of things to come as the weeks pass. It was another carpentry labour of love for Robin, he made a large 1.4m wide teak duckboard to fit into the well in the cockpit floor right outside the saloon door. It has made a huge difference to the depth of the well but mostly the overall appearance of the entrance into the saloon and the cockpit itself. I'm so pleased with how it has turned out that I'm trying to talk him into doing another one, much smaller this time, for the starboard head floor area.😉 Music : https://youtube.com/ikson PATREON: We hope you enjoy our video and don’t forget to subscribe to see where the wind eventually takes us.
