Diving on E-49, Shetland, July 2021

E-49 was an E class Submarine mined on 12/03/1917 by UC-76, everyone on board was lost. https://www.scottishshipwrecks.com/hms-e-49/ This was the highlight of my dives whilst up in the Shetland Isles and the first Submarine I've dive. We start at the bow and work our way toward the stern, passing the conning tower. The poppy was placed on it for the duration of the 2021 dive season by crew from the MV Valkyrie and Valhalla who run live aboard trips in the area.
