Buying a Sailboat is Mostly Dock Walking & Stressing | S01E07

We never thought buying a sailboat would be easy, but we are struggling. We are spending sooo much time dock walking and searching online but just aren't finding many that fit the bill for what we are looking for. We are making our way to Annapolis to see what we can find. We figure the hub of sailing is a good place to go...turns out we are wrong (atleast for our family). We still manage to get onto a couple of boats that we like; an Allied 42 XL, a Pearson 40, and a Corbin 39. We get some much need rest time too, our boondockers site is so awesome we decided to stay a few extra days. Time constraints, money, etc keep us pushing south to find our boat, next stop North Carolina. We time it just right to get onto a Hallberg Rassy Rasmus 35 that the owner is refitting...BEAUTIFUL boat but a bit too small for us. We end this week with getting the first look of a very promising boat!
