Designed by Bruce Farr, Kioni underwent a major restoration with her previous owners starting in late 2018 and continuing through 2019 in preparation for the 75th Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. She was rebuilt to the absolute highest standard and her improvements included, a full re-spray, new Volvo engine, new B&G instruments, new autopilot, new standing and running rigging, an extensive new wardrobe of predominantly Hood sails, new interior covers - and the list goes on. Hew new owners have continued to lovingly maintain her and added some of their own touches including a Bimini Cover and custom-made stainless-steel BBQ. Currently CAT 5 compliant with much of her previous CAT 1 kit still on board, Kioni is without doubt one of the best prepared Beneteau First 47.7's available today, and is a turn-key proposition to race or cruise.
