9 knots in the Georgia Strait, serious water play in seriously cold water, farewell to Tommy Transit

We sail from Todd Inlet on Vancouver Island to Granville Island in the heart of Vancouver BC. Two perfect beam reaches West to East and from East to West across the Georgia Strait. The Salish Sea has 54 degree water and we are unafraid to jump in. We see the boat and the crew of SV Maiden in downtown Seattle. SV Maiden is the boat that Tracy Edwards and the first all female crew sailed in the Whitbred around the world race.
