For more details about "Liberty": https://bit.ly/liberty-for-sale It's always exciting when a superyacht becomes available for sale for the first time. "Liberty" is a very unique vessel, and after enjoying her for many years the owner has now selected Northrop & Johnson to sell her. This gave me a great opportunity to go on board and show you around!
For more details about Monaco's Energy Boat Challenge check out: www.energyboatchallenge.com I filmed this video shortly after the Monaco Yacht Show, where there was a considerable amount of discussion about sustainable yachting. So many builders large and small are looking for more environmentally friendly solutions.
For more information about "Gitana": https://bit.ly/gitana-yacht Filming a Feadship is always a special experience, and "Gitana" is no exception. Her owner has invested wisely and generously to keep her in magnificent condition, as I hope this video will demonstrate.

0:00 - Walk Through of the Blue Game 72 17:43 - Walk Through of the Show! Many Thanks to the various people I bumped into who were happy to chat, especially Justin Ratcliffe who you can see at https://youtu.be/HdoqaV837Dw And also our gracious competitor Denison Yachts https://www.youtube.com/c/DenisonYachting
On day 2 of the Monaco Yacht Show I was invited to see the Amazing Azimut 38m Trideck and I am so glad that Federico Lantero was kind enough to show us around. Watch the video...and you'll see why!
A little later than I had hoped for...but I am very happy to release my update of the Monaco Yacht Show. This year I came straight to ICON Yachts, who produced the highly successful explorer yacht "Ragnar". They now have a new project underway, so I had a chat with Tony Gale the CEO, and with the astonishingly talented designer Espen Oeino!
Monaco Yacht Show is just around the corner, and I already have a few appointments to view yachts and meet key industry players. Here is what you can expect!
The Numarine 37 XP was one of the most requested yachts by the viewers of this channel, so I am so pleased to have been shown the yacht by Ali Thanir, the Head of Sales. We also got the opportunity to look at a pretty amazing sailing yacht built by Solaris and the winner of an important award!
On Day 4 of the Cannes Yachting Festival I took a look at two significant yachts built by Italian shipyards that are completely new to yachting. It was a busy day with big crowds, and I hear that plenty of deals were being done!
Day 3 of the Show brought more than one surprise. The Bering 70 was a fascinating yacht and the owner of the shipyard was an interesting character who clearly knows what his mission is; to create simple, robust, cost effective yachts. The Baglietto 40 too was a tremendous yacht, and it's great to see such a historic Italian shipyard making it's mark on the industry again. The biggest surprise of all though came after my tour of the Bering ?
For more information about "Reveil": https://www.northropandjohnson.com/yachts-for-sale/reveil-92-ab When "Reveil" became available for sale I was keen to get on board and film her. I knew very little about this yacht and so was thrilled to hear that the owner would be on board. She made for a very educational and inspirational film shoot!
Thanks to Dominic at Marine Nano Tech for his presentation: https://marinenanotech.com Day 2 of the Show was very busy, plenty of visitors and I was able to take a good look at the Majesty 100, the remarkable Iguana, and catch up with my friends at SEANET!
Day 1 of the Cannes Yacht Show , and Sara Smuczynska gave me a wonderful tour of the Sunreef 80 and was kind enough to show me the 70 too. I'm happy to say that the Show was well attended on the first day... a good sign that we may be getting back to normality! By the way, check out Nautistyles at https://youtube.com/c/NautiStyles

For more details about KELLY ANN: https://bit.ly/kelly-ann Many yacht owners choose to use their yacht to cruise backwards and forwards to the same locations. Not the owners of "Kelly Ann" who are experiencing the cruise of a lifetime. That cruise is now approaching the end, and so they chose Northrop & Johnson to sell the vessel. A very wise choice too if I may say so!
This video is inspired by a viewer who asked me what combination of shipyards may build the perfect yacht. I believe that the designer is often almost as important as the builder if you are building a custom yacht!
I am currently in the UK waiting to get my passport back after submitting it for a Visa application...so I thought I'd use my time wisely by answering the question of "What Makes a Yacht...A Yacht???" I get into "What makes a yacht...a yacht?" at 02:05
The process of building a superyacht is extremely complex, so it's not surprising that mistakes are often made...and occasionally are even serious enough for an owner to reject the vessel! This vlog takes a look at the most common mistakes, and some of the causes for rejection.
