5 BEST ACTIVITIES TO DO IN TASSIE: 1. Hike in Wineglass Bay 🥾⛰️ Some of the most beautiful beaches and bays can be seen from the views in Wineglass Bay & Freycinet National Park is gorgeous for hiking and swimming. You can get a guide here but you don’t necessarily need one. The trails are clearly marked and it’s easy to find your way around. 2. Swim with Seals in Waterfall Bay 🦭🧜🏼♀️ Seals are sooo much fun to swim with! They are found along the coast in this area. Boat tours will take you to the spots where you can see seals and snorkel with marine life. 3. Photograph Wombats on Maria Island 📸🦘🏕️ This island is home to so many species of Australian wildlife. You can find wombats, kangaroos, and even Tasmanian Devils if you’re really lucky. You can also camp on this island with your own camping gear or visit for the day. Remember to pack a headlamp 🔦 4. Scuba Dive in Caves 🤿 🫧 🌊 We chose to dive Cathedral Cave which is the biggest cave system in Australia. This is more of an advanced dive so we recommend doing you PADI Cavern Diver Specialty & PADI Dry Suit Diver for the cold water (trust me 🥶) 5. Look for Penguins at night in Bicheno 🌖🐧 Fairy penguin colonies live in the rocks by the beach and can be spotted after dark.
