A sailing couple with a great YouTube channel sails off on an Atlantic Crossing to Portugal on their 42 foot Gib’sea ketch cruising sailboat and is lost at sea. A rescue begins and the boat is never found until they wash ashore on Sable Island in a life raft. This electric powered sailboat may not have had an EPIRB and is never found.

After anchoring at Brick Hill near Cumberland Island, we took about a 4 mile dinghy ride to the Plum Orchard docks. Once there, we hiked across the island to the most amazing beach with literally only 2 other people (way far away). We saw lots of birds, armadillos, a baby tortoise, and of course wild horses. We ❤️ this island/National Park.
