Mark ‘Ricko’ Richards, the ever-upbeat skipper of Wild Oats XI and his team will doubtless take this challenge in their stride, maintaining focus on their declared end game of completing this year’s race to Hobart after damage-induced retirements in the last two years. We had to remove the tarp now! It was becoming more and more unbearable to work under it, and we assessed that it wouldn’t hold back the rain coming next week anyway☔️ Now we just need to lightly sand over the various deck fittings and seal the holes with all the different fittings we’ve removed from the deck. A big thanks to @paa.dybt.vand for helping us getting rid of the tarp 🙏🏻 We will most likely put it back on on the aft part of the deck when we start to renovate that part sometime in the coming week 🥵
