We hear about new boat models all the time, but entirely new brands? Not so much. For the 2023 model year, manufacturer Fluid Motion (builder of Ranger Tugs and Cutwater Boats) has introduced the Solara brand, which includes 25- and 31-foot trailerable models. We spotted the queen of the fleet, the S-310 CW, at the Annapolis Boat Show this fall. Indeed, the trade of carpenter / cabinetmaker does not stop with the manufacture and installation of furnitures. The fitting out of the boats begins with the insulation as well as the installation of the floors, the manufacture, assembly and adjustment of the furnitures and the installation of the synthetic resin working plans and linings. It is therefore a very complete role, leading our companions to work with different materials and wood species.
