As the Vinson prepares to set sail back to South Georgia, here at KM Yachtbuilders we just turned the hull of her future sister boat. Most aluminum boats are built upside down to facilitate welding. Turning the hull up is a significant milestone: It is the equator of the building process and, once straightened, not only starts to look like a real boat but opens the door to further work. The vessel gradually comes to life. Skip Novak was there for such a special moment. A car makes a dangerous pass at Market and Sanchez in San Francisco, crossing the double yellow and speeding. At the next intersection, the car illegally passes in the intersection and speeds again. License plate lools like 7L3L972 or 7LSL972 Behavior like this is common on Sanchez between Market and Duboce. Also, my passive-aggressiveness was stupid and didn't help anything.
