Here’s an interesting view of an Exploration 45 from the front. It reveals what Olivier Racoupeau refers to as ‘beam stability’, in his interview on the Garcia Yachts channel. Katy and Jerry on GX25 - Idril pulled up to the dock next to GX27 - Snow Gum. The four of us humans had a good chat about all manner of things relating to Exploration 45s. Great footage off Mallorca... This Garcia 48 Catamaran weighs over 23 Tons! "It works perfectly on a 23 tons aluminum cat - GARCIA 48, entered in the next WORLD ARC" And a later report: "This week we tested the GARCIA with 25 knots wind from behind - excellent with your XT vane !!!!!!" Note the Extended Heading Tube (often recommended for Catamarans to get the Vane up even higher). The video also shows our Watt&Sea bracket (attached to the Hydrovane Shaft). Pretty cool stuff...
