The start of the One Circular Quay Australian Maxi Championship SOLAS Big Boat Challenge saw Master Lock Comanche lead the fleet down the harbour. Bow Caddy tracked her from our boat and this is the result from a hand-held non-gimballed camera with Master Lock Comanche reaching speeds of around 25 knots plus. It was an impressive sight. Great driving from Stu Don.

Llamaremos virar a la acciรณn de variar el lado de entrada del viento maniobrando velas y timรณn hasta cambiarlo de banda. Se llama virar por avante cuando orzamos con el timรณn hasta pasar el viento por la proa, tambiรฉn podemos virar en redondo (trasluchar) cuando cambiamos el viento arribando hasta pasarlo por la popa. Es una maniobra que, llevada a cabo en equipo, con suavidad, seguridad y precisiรณn, consigues cambiar de rumbo y hacer que el barco no se pare.
