C’est faire une boucle non coulissante sur une bite d’amarrage ou sur un taquet par exemple… Le nœud de chaise, ou nœud de bouline, du nom du cordage qui sert à étarquer une voile carrée, est un nœud de boucle fixe (non coulant). Sa particularité est qu'il est facile à défaire, même après avoir subi une traction très forte ou après un resserrement dû au dessèchement du cordage, toutefois il ne peut être dénoué sous tension. Il peut être mis en œuvre sur des cordages réalisés dans tous les types de matériau. Pour réaliser le nœud de chaise, il existe plusieurs méthodes (sans nom). 1re méthode : Le puits et le serpent Cette méthode didactique est notamment enseignée avec la phrase mnémotechnique « Le serpent sort du puits, il fait le tour de l'arbre puis il rentre à nouveau dans le puits. ». Voir schéma ci-contre 2e méthode : ganse On confectionne une boucle dans laquelle on passe une ganse. Il faut alors passer le brin libre dans cette ganse et tirer la ganse pour que le nœud se mette correctement en place1. Cette méthode permet de faire une partie du nœud à l'avance (boucle et ganse). 3e méthode : basculement On croise les brins à 90°, puis on réalise une boucle en basculant les brins, et on repasse le brin court dans une boucle2. Cette méthode permet de réaliser d'une seule main une boucle à l'extrémité d'un cordage (pour une amarre par exemple).. The boat can be sold with out the licence and off the mooring and the sale price would be adjusted accordingly.
