Anchoring is easy once you know how to do it. You find a spot that looks like good holding, drop the anchor while slowly backing the boat up (so the chain leads out rather than falling into a big clump). Once all the chain is out (5x the depth), you pull back using the engine to set the anchor into the seabed. As long as the anchor is holding while in reverse, you’re good to go! On day 85 out of 90 in Southeast Asia, I crashed on the motorbike while filming myself. This was a gentle crash. A few minutes later, I crashed again while going downhill. The motorbike I rented had no rear brake and so I was trying to navigate the steep dirt roads with only the front brake. Any cyclist/motorcycle rider knows the danger in that... The second crash was a doozy and I bruised my knee pretty good... Still hurting a week later. (Yes Mom and Dad, I've been to both the hospital on the island, and my doctor here at Stanford. I'll be fine.)
