This was one of the most rewarding (and frustrating) projects I have ever undertaken. Inspired by another boats wheel and wanting something a little more special that the standard French whipping technique, I opted for coachwhipping - and to make it a little more challenging, I made it a 9 strand 😂 is it perfect? No. But it’s pretty darn close and I’m very proud of it! Will I do it again? Hull #1 is already in build, using 38% biosourced epoxy resin, 40% recycled PET foam, flax fiber and cork. The Navier 27 is the concept version built by Lyman-Morse and is a 27′ all carbon, all electric, semi-autonomous foiling vessel. We performed the initial testing in November, just before Navier's N30 made it's debut at the Miami Art Basel. What an exciting project to be a part of!
