Almost a total rebuild and restoration and thoroughly modern systems make SWANILDA a very usable classic. Indeed, following her 2010-2012 reconstruction her design and condition now should allow ocean passages as well as summer #cruises and #classic races. A recent topsides repaint and mast and spars refinishing at Elephant #boatyard leaves this very English lady looking very smart. We are staying at a mooring north of Phuket, located close to Yacht Haven Marina. In this area, there are many boats; most stay on moorings, but some are on an anchor. This is a nice place because it is very close to all the facilities, with the marina within walking distance.
