World Cat has built its reputation on beam, balance, and bluewater confidence and the 235TE carries that cat DNA straight offshore. More deck space to work a spread, rock-solid lateral stability when the seas kick up, and the kind of comfort that keeps the crew fishing longer. Twin 150s light the afterburners to 48.5 mph, while a 120-gallon fuel load delivers a 265-NM best-cruise range. Add a standard hardtop and smart fishing features throughout, and you’ve got a cat that’s wide where it counts. The Spirit of Dana Point is a traditionally built replica of a 1770's privateer schooner used throughout the American Revolution. The ship is 118 feet in length with a rig height of 100 feet and almost 5,000 square feet of sail. On this day, while racing in the Dana Point Harbor Championships, the Spirit of Dana Point was out in 12-14 knots of true wind with gusts to 20 knots! It currently resides at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point, CA.
