Seit April 2023 leben und arbeiten wir, Sarah und Michael, an Bord unserer Segelyacht Lilo und segeln in der Ostsee zu den schönsten Orten. Mit dabei sind unsere beiden Fellnasen Trishi und Merlin, die ebenfalls das Segeln für sich entdeckt haben und uns bei unseren Touren auf dem Wasser und an Land stets begleiten. Da wir nicht nur segeln möchten, sondern ebenfalls die Menschen und die Länder rund um die Ostsee kennenlernen möchten, sind wir eher gemütlich unterwegs. Wir freuen uns über jeden, der uns virtuell auf unserer Reise begleiten möchte. http://www.TheNorthStory.de Since April 2023, we, Sarah and Michael, have been living and working on board our sailing yacht Lilo and sailing to the most beautiful places in the Baltic Sea. Our two dogs Trishi and Merlin, who have also discovered sailing for themselves and always accompany us on our tours on the water and on land, are also on board. As we don't just want to sail, but also want to get to know the people and countries around the Baltic Sea, we tend to travel at a more leisurely pace. We caught up with some of the 29er sailors at the Irish Sailing Investwise Youth National Championships in Howth Yacht club today (April 15th 2023) to find out what they love about sailing. The 29ers are one of the fastest growing classes and have a great mix of boys and girls competing together and against each other. A statistical report has been drawn up from the 2022 Watersports Inclusion Games which took place in Lough Derg Yacht Club. The importance of evidence-based data is only increasing in the world today. With this in mind, Irish Sailing has committed to the capture and analysis of data from our activities to gain insights which will help to track trends and inform decision making going forwards.
