Here in San Diego, we’re lucky to enjoy year-round sailing, with our crew hitting the water 7 days a week, all 12 months of the year. Southern California’s weather during January, February, and March is hard to beat—lately, we’ve been enjoying sunny days with temperatures in the 60s and 70s. One of the most common questions we hear this time of year is: "Will I get cold on the water?" The truth is, San Diego’s winter weather isn’t all that different from fall or spring.   Captain Dave’s Tip: Bring an extra layer—like a windbreaker or jacket—to stay comfortable during your sail. #shorts here’s how to get rid of mold on a boat: all you need to clean up mold on your boat is a rag and white vinegar. I don’t dilute it. Buy a gallon from the grocery store or Walmart and you’re good to go! It is an endless battle though. Best not to let it get ahead of you!
