We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Detta är vårt hem ⛵️💙 En Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49i eller en 15meters segelbåt för de som föredrar det språket. Det är owner-version med 3 hytter. Ofta produceras båtar i charter version eller i owner version. Och som namnen säger så har de lite olika layout beroende på om man ska ha den som ägare för eget bruk (owner-version) eller om tanken är charter. Hade denna båt varit en charter-version hade den haft fyra hytter och tre toaletter. En sådan version hade inte passat oss lika bra. Vi valde just denna modell av flera anledningar. Men en av dem var att den var "Purpose build", alltså genomtänkt layout och förberett för tvättmaskin, diskmaskin m.m Sedan har denna båt aldrig gått som charter.
