Have you ever been on a waterslide in the middle of the ocean? When we sailed on MSC Virtuosa we did just that! The Safari Aquapark on deck 19 of MSC Virtuosa is a fantastic facility included in the cost of the cruise fare (so no extra charge to use it!), with 3 large waterslides as well as a splash zone and smaller slide for younger guests. Our family loved this Aquapark and we used it as often as we could in our 5 night May half-term cruise. Height restrictions apply to the larger slides, and guests using them also need to get a wrist band from a crew member based in the Aquapark during opening hours (after signing a disclaimer). The Aquapark is right next to the Himalayan Bridge high ropes course, which is also included in the cruise fare and covered by the same wrist band. Che emozione tornare in oceano per un viaggio lungo come questo. Che emozione disormeggiare e stivare le cime. Non serviranno per quasi un mese, d’altronde, e questo non è già da solo un evento straordinario? Gli ultimi giorni sono stati pieni di imprevisti e rallentamenti. Di lavori e sudore. Ma che importa, quando voli a 8 nodi verso una notte di oceano e di promesse. Niente luna, buio dappertutto, ma tanta luce a bordo di questa piccola oasi che corre verso casa. Non di quella visibile agli occhi, s’intende. ❤️ Camilla
